Adventure Fitness Level Guide

A fitness level guide for your adventure trip helps guide you in choosing a trip that will align with your abilities and goals (or push these boundaries). Sometimes we will test not only our physical limits, but our emotional resilience as well. 

🌿 Level 1: Leisure Explorer (Beginner) 

Ideal for travelers who enjoy relaxed activities with minimal exertion. 

Is this for you?

These journeys are designed to let you explore at your own pace or with expert guidance through incredible destinations. With an experienced guide by your side, you’re never alone—they’re more than a navigator; they’re a source of inspiration, helping you step into new experiences with confidence and curiosity. 

Examples Include

Think cultural tours, fruit farm walks, beach lounging  & botanical garden strolls.

Physical Requirements

Basic mobility, comfortable walking short  to moderate distances. Potentially walking on uneven terrain like gravel or cobblestone streets.

Mental Requirements

Be open to new experiences, but prefers a relaxed pace. Enjoyment of, or open to, experiencing new cultures and scenic beauty without high-pressure situations.

🌿 Level 2: Adventurous Spirit (Moderate)

Perfect for those with an active lifestyle, ready for moderate physical activity. 

Is this for you?

Perfect for those with an active lifestyle, who enjoy active experiences when traveling. Be prepared to shift the perspective from “I hope I can do this” to “I am growing through this challenge.”

Examples Include

Kayaking, moderate hiking trails (1-3 miles), cycling through scenic routes, snorkeling in deeper waters, ziplining.

Physical Requirements

 Good balance, moderate endurance, ability to engage in extended activity. 

Mental Requirements

 Comfortable stepping outside your comfort zone with controlled risk. Prepared to adapt to new environments and take on challenges like ziplining or snorkeling in deeper waters.  

Surfing

🌿 Level 3: Trailblazer (Challenging)

For those who enjoy pushing their physical limits through rigorous adventures. 

Is this for you?

Perfect for those with an active lifestyle.

Confident in embracing discomfort—whether it's pushing through fatigue on a steep hike or taking that first leap in adrenaline-fueled moments like diving with sharks. 

Examples Include

Hiking steep trails and mountainous terrain,  potentially distances up to 10 miles per day, diving with sharks, paragliding.

Physical Requirements

Strong endurance, ability to navigate uneven surfaces, comfortable with physical exertion and accepting discomfort as part of the process.

Mental Requirements

 Confident in embracing discomfort—whether it's pushing through fatigue on a steep hike or taking that first leap in adrenaline-fueled moments like diving with sharks.

Hiking

🌿 Level 4: Fearless Explorer (Our Most Extreme)

Reserved for the truly daring—where adrenaline meets adventure. 

Is this for you?

This is for the wild ones—the travelers who crave altitude, adrenaline, and adventure that kicks comfort to the curb. You don’t just want to see the world… you want to meet it head-on

Examples Include

High-altitude summit climbs, long-distance overnight hiking, skydiving, BASE jumping.

Physical Requirements

Peak endurance required, ability to handle physically and emotionally demanding experiences.

Ability to trek uneven and challenging terrain for days (but think of those breath-taking views)! Pushing your limits with activities like skydiving or high-altitude hikes where oxygen levels may be lower.

Mental Requirements

High mental resilience. Requires a strong mindset to overcome fear, manage risk, and maintain composure in intense experiences like BASE jumping or paragliding over cliffs.
