Explore Dreamy Chefchaouen

Atlas Mountains Exploration
Rabat & Casablanca
Where the Journey Meets the Sea
Casablanca
Typical accommodations: Melliber Appart Hotel or similar
Day 1
Arrival & Welcome Dinner We ease into Morocco with a relaxed arrival day in Casablanca. After settling into the hotel and adjusting to the time difference, we gather for our welcome dinner — the perfect moment to meet your fellow travelers, shake off the travel fatigue, and set the tone for the adventure ahead.
Day 2
Casablanca’s Icons & Oceanfront Energy
Our first full day begins with a visit to the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque, an architectural masterpiece rising dramatically over the Atlantic. With its soaring minaret and intricate tilework, it’s not only the largest mosque in Morocco — it’s a true oceanfront marvel.
From there, we follow the coastline along the Corniche, Casablanca’s breezy waterfront lined with palms, cafés, and everyday city life. It’s the perfect place to feel the city’s rhythm and take in the sea air before we continue our journey inland.

Rabat
Typical accommodations: La Maison Des Oiseaux or similar
Walking the streets of Rabat feels like stepping into a living tapestry—woven with centuries-old stone, ocean mist, and a rhythm that hums with quiet power. As Morocco’s capital, Rabat balances elegance with edge.
Our stops include Hassan Tower, a colossal red sandstone minaret that was meant to soar over 80 meters into the sky. Today it stands at 44 meters. Wide interior ramps (yes, horse-accessible) and intricate carvings still whisper the architectural ambition of the Almohad dynasty.
Then slip into the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a fortified 12th-century citadel perched above the Bou Regreg River. It's a quiet maze of Andalusian-style homes, artisan shops, and cliffside gardens that overlook the Atlantic. The scent of citrus from the Andalusian Gardens, the echo of footsteps on cobblestone, and the distant call to prayer create a sensory blend that’s both grounding and transportive.

Chefchaouen: Sunsets & Spices
Typical accommodations: Maison d'hôtes Afassi or similar
As the day winds down, we’ll follow our local hosts up into the hills above the Blue City. The trek is gentle, but the reward is unforgettable: a sweeping view of Chefchaouen glowing in every shade of blue as the sun begins to set. Together, we’ll prepare a traditional Moroccan feast—chopping, seasoning, and sharing our homecooked meals together while we breathe in the mountain air. When evening falls, we’ll dine under the open sky, the city shines below us like a dream.
Chefchaouen
The blue pearl

of Morocco
Tucked away in the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen is a dream location drenched in shades of blue. As you step into its labyrinthine streets, it feels as though you’ve wandered into an enchanted fairytale—where sapphire walls and cobalt stairways lead to hidden wonders - untouched by time.
We will explore the heart of Chefchaouen with a local guided walking tour. We’ll visit the Grand Mosque and Kasbah, and pass through historic gates like Bab El Ain and Bab Souk.
There's something truly magical about exploring Chefchaouen's famous blue streets after dark. As the sun sets, the narrow passageways of the medina take on a mystical quality.
Fes: A Living Tapestry of History & Craft

Typical accommodations: Riad Sheryne or similar
We’ll dive into the soul of Fes el-Bali, the city is the largest car-free urban area in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site alive with tradition. We’ll weave through the winding alleys, step inside centuries-old tanneries, and witness how handwoven carpets and intricate metalwork are still crafted using age-old techniques.

Sunset Camel Rides
and
Starry Skies Glamping
Day 6 - 7
Typical accommodations: Beldi Camp or similar
We begin our journey into the vast, expanse of the Moroccan Sahara landscape, riding camelback into the heart of the desert as the day slowly fades. As the sun sinks into the desert, it paints the landscapes in golden hues creating a dreamlike experience. Our sunset camel ride offers a glimpse into the nomadic way of life and the simple beauty of the desert.
Back at camp, the campfire crackles, its glow casting soft shadows across the sand, the night invites conversation—tales of adventure, laughter, and reflections beneath the open sky. Here, beneath a canopy of untouched stars, the constellations emerge in breathtaking clarity.
Watch the sun rise over the endless desert landscape before we tear across the Sahara in 4x4s, kicking up a storm. Our stop? A nomad tent where Berber Nomads welcome us with mint tea—strong, smoky, ceremonial. You’re not watching from the sidelines. You’re in it.
Next up - Khamlia Village where we don’t just hear Gnaoua music, we feel it. Drums slam. Voices rise. Dust dances. We don’t sit and clap—we jump in. This isn’t curated culture. It’s raw, loud, alive.
Ouarzazate & Ait Ben Haddou
Desert Drama Meets Cinematic Majesty

Day 7 - 8
Typical accommodations: Les Jardins De Todgha or similar
Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar that looks like it was carved straight out of a movie set—because it was. Gladiator, Game of Thrones, The Mummy… they all filmed here. But this isn’t just for show. It’s a real mudbrick fortress, stacked into the hillside, with winding alleys, crumbling towers, and panoramic views that slap.
We’ll walk the ancient paths, climb to the granary at the top, and soak in the view where caravans once hauled gold and salt across the Sahara. It’s raw, cinematic, and unforgettable.
Todgha Gorge – Slowing Things Down in an Epic Landscape
After days of movement, we slow the pace and settle into the breathtaking beauty of Todgha Gorge — a place where the canyon walls rise straight into the sky and the whole world feels carved from stone and light.
We explore with an easy walk along the gorge floor, where the river winds between towering cliffs and the air stays cool and crisp. We leave time to take in one of Morocco’s most dramatic natural wonders at own pace.
And the best part? We’re staying in stunning accommodations overlooking the gorge itself, giving you front‑row views of the epic landscape right from your room. Sunrise and sunset here are something special — the canyon glows, the light shifts, and it feels like the whole place is waking up with you. It’s the perfect pause in the middle of our journey — grounding, scenic, and unforgettable.
Marrakech
Magic
Typical accommodations: Riad Makila or similar
Step into the pulse of Marrakech, where every corner hums with life. Your expert guide will lead you through the city's winding streets, unveiling its hidden gems and legendary landmarks. Marvel at the intricate beauty of the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and so much more. Our guide will help you gain confidence navigating the labyrinthine streets of the Medina and bring Marrakech’s rich history to life, weaving tales of sultans, traders, and artisans who shaped this vibrant city.
As the sun sets, dive into the electrifying energy of the night market, where sizzling street food, hypnotic music, and dazzling lights create an unforgettable spectacle.

Riad Haven
During our Marrakech journey, we will immerse ourselves in the elegance and tranquility of a traditional riad. Historically, riads were the homes of wealthy merchants and aristocrats, built to provide privacy and protection from the bustling streets of the medina.
The Hammam Ritual: A Journey of Renewal
The next morning, awaken to the soothing ritual of a traditional hammam—a centuries-old cleansing experience that is both rejuvenating and deeply cultural.

Cultural Immersion
Step into the heart of Moroccan hospitality as a local family welcomes you into their home with open arms. Before the cooking begins, we will venture into the bustling souks to select the best ingredients, where vibrant stalls overflow with fragrant spices, fresh produce, and handcrafted ingredients. Back in the family’s cozy kitchen, their warm guidance unfolds, as you learn to master the art of tanjori cooking, a time-honored technique that infuses dishes with deep, layered flavors. Gathered around the table, we savor the fruits of our labor—dishes infused with the soul of Morocco. The experience is more than just cooking; it’s a celebration of culture and connection.
Atlas Mountains Await
Trails, Traditions & Mountain Tranquility

We arrive in Imlil, a peaceful mountain village perched at the base of Mount Toubkal. Life moves gently here, and the views stretch endlessly across terraced valleys and rugged peaks. As we wander through the village, we’ll meet locals sharing their handmade goods and the kind of hospitality that feels genuine and deeply rooted.
Lunch is homecooked and soul‑warming — the kind of meal that stays with you long after you leave the mountains behind.
We’ll head into the heart of the High Atlas, where jagged peaks and quiet valleys set the stage for a slower, deeper kind of adventure. With a local guide leading the way, we’ll explore scenic trails that wind through walnut groves, terraced fields, and Berber villages tucked into the hillsides.

Meet Ibrahim
Hello! I can't wait to welcome you to my beautiful country. My name is Ibrahim. I grew up as a nomad in the Sahara, and today I share the Morocco I know best with small groups of women from around the world. Whether we’re wandering hidden souks or visiting families who’ve known me since childhood, my goal is to make every woman feel confident, comfortable, and welcomed as she explores this amazing country.
Amanda - Founder & Lover of Adventure
Salam! I’m Amanda—founder of Roam with Me Travel and your co-host for our unforgettable Moroccan adventure.
Morocco has a way of changing you. My first time here, I was swept up in the rhythm of the souks, the endless desert skies, and the warmth of its people. For me, travel isn’t just about seeing new places, but about connection, celebration, and beauty that lingers long after you’ve returned home—and Morocco is the perfect example of this.
From the maze-like alleys of Marrakech to the golden dunes of the Sahara, Morocco is a land of contrasts—ancient medinas and modern energy, spice-laden feasts and quiet desert skies.
Together, we’ll explore vibrant markets, share meals that awaken the senses, and journey through landscapes that feel like stepping into a storybook. My favorite part? The laughter and connection that come alive when we’re gathered under desert stars, or wandering side by side through the medina’s hidden corners. I can't wait to share it with you!
