Mardi Gras - New Orleans
There’s no better time to experience New Orleans than Mardi Gras, when the city bursts with color, music, and celebration. Parades roll through the streets, costumes shine in every direction, and the energy is unforgettable.
We’ll savor iconic Creole flavors, join the crowds along the parade routes, and dive deeper into the culture with a guided foodie tour — tasting gumbo, po’boys, pralines, and more while uncovering the traditions behind each dish. One evening, we’ll mix up cocktails and mocktails with a New Orleans mixologist, learning the stories behind the city’s most iconic drinks. And of course, we’ll spend a night wrapped in live jazz at one of the city’s classic music spots — the kind of place where the music hits your soul in the best way.
We’ll also slip into the city’s mysterious side with a nighttime ghost walk through the French Quarter and a visit to one of New Orleans’ historic cemeteries — where stories of spirits, folklore, and centuries‑old legends bring the city’s haunted charm to life.
We celebrate and toast with new friends — dancing together along the parade routes, sharing stories over seafood boils, laughing through late‑night adventures, and creating the kind of memories that only happen when a group comes alive in a place built for joy.
Ready to discover the New Orleans of folklore, music, mystery, celebration, and unforgettable new connections.

Day 4
The grand finale is here — Fat Tuesday! Today belongs to Rex, the King of Carnival, and the city erupts in color, music, and tradition. This is the parade that defines Mardi Gras, with dazzling floats, royal pageantry, and the proclamation that sets the tone for the entire celebration.
The morning begins at your own pace — breakfast, a little shopping for beads and masks, or simply soaking in the festive buzz of the French Quarter. By late morning, we’ll make our way to the parade route to secure our spot before Rex rolls at 10:30 AM. From the moment the first float appears, the streets roar to life with costumes, music, and endless throws, carrying the celebration into the early afternoon.
Once the parade winds down, we’ll gather for a celebratory farewell feast, sharing highlights, laughter, and reflections from our time together. The afternoon offers a chance to rest or linger in the city, soaking up the atmosphere as Mardi Gras energy continues to pulse through the streets.
As night falls, the festivities don’t stop. Guests may join the group for one last round of revelry on Bourbon Street — high‑energy, iconic, and unforgettable — or opt for the soulful vibe of Frenchmen Street, where live jazz and local bars keep the spirit alive.
