Yellowstone & Tetons Adventure

If you’ve been dreaming of exploring America’s iconic national parks but never quite made the leap, this is your moment. Yellowstone and the Tetons are the kind of places that sit on bucket lists for years — steaming geysers, wild valleys, towering peaks — and now you get to experience them with a group of women who are just as ready as you are. This is your time to finally step into the parks you’ve seen in photos and daydreams and feel the magic of the West come alive around you.

We’ll wander through Yellowstone’s geothermal wonderland, watching vibrant pools shimmer in impossible colors and feeling the ground rumble as Old Faithful erupts. Bison roam the valleys, waterfalls carve through canyons, and every overlook feels like a postcard you somehow get to stand inside. In the Tetons, we’ll stroll along calm alpine lakes, breathe in crisp mountain air, and soak up those jagged‑peak views that stop you mid‑sentence.

One morning, we’ll rise early for a golden‑hour wildlife drive —  we are amongst the giants here. Another afternoon, we’ll explore a charming Western town, grab coffee, browse local shops, and enjoy that slow‑travel ease that makes this trip feel like a true retreat.

Sharing this adventure with a small group of women. We keep the laughs coming, gasp together at geysers and wildlife sightings, and soak up every “wow” moment the parks throw our way. Evenings bring cozy dinners, warm drinks, and time to unwind under star‑filled skies, swapping stories and settling into the peaceful rhythm of the mountains.

We celebrate the beauty around us and the connections we build — cheering each other on at viewpoints, sharing snacks on the trail, and creating the kind of memories that stay with you long after the mountains fade in the rearview.

Ready to discover the Yellowstone and Tetons of wild landscapes, slow moments, sisterhood, and unforgettable adventure.

Come solo and meet like-minded adventurers. Rally your friend group out of the group chat. However you show up, your trip will be unforgettable. Can’t make the posted dates? Reach out—we’ll help make it happen.

Bozeman Welcome

Day 1 - 2

Typical accommodations: The SapphireMotel or similar

Day 1

Arrive in Bozeman — whether you’re flying in or driving — and make your way to accommodations in the middle of all the action. Settle in, unwind, and ease into the adventure ahead.

That evening, we’ll gather for a relaxed welcome dinner — good food, easy conversation, and that “we’re really doing this” feeling that always hits on night one.

After dinner, we’ll head into town to visit one of Bozeman’s beloved local breweries. The city is known for its charming restaurants, craft beer scene, and friendly mountain‑town vibe, and this is the perfect way to soak it all in. Whether you’re sipping a local IPA, trying a seasonal brew, or just enjoying the atmosphere, it’s a fun, low‑key way to wrap up our first night together.

Northern Yellowstone Wonders + Evening Hot Springs Soak

Day 2

Wake up ready for adventure — today we explore the upper half of Yellowstone, where geothermal magic, wildlife, and wide‑open views set the tone for the day. With our host leading the way, we’ll move through some of the park’s most iconic northern highlights at a relaxed, steady pace.

Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces

We’ll begin at Mammoth Hot Springs, where steaming travertine terraces spill down the hillside in ribbons of white, gold, and soft orange. Boardwalks wind through this surreal landscape, giving us incredible views of formations that shift and grow over time.

Norris Geyser Basin (optional stop)

If timing allows, we’ll wander through parts of Norris, Yellowstone’s hottest and most active thermal area — a landscape of steaming vents, crackling earth, and neon‑blue pools.

Artist Paint Pots

Next, we’ll explore the Artist Paint Pots, a colorful hydrothermal area filled with bubbling mud pots, pastel‑tinted pools, and steaming fumaroles. It’s like nature’s own art studio — splashes of pink, blue, and rust swirling together in the earth.

Scenic Picnic Lunch

We’ll enjoy a scenic picnic lunch overlooking one of Yellowstone’s classic viewpoints — the kind of spot where you just sit back, breathe in the crisp air, and take in the moment.

Gibbon Falls + Roaring Mountain

In the afternoon, we’ll stop at a few northern gems:

  • Gibbon Falls — a beautiful roadside waterfall framed by canyon walls

  • Roaring Mountain — a hillside alive with hissing steam vents you can hear before you see

Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

We’ll end our park time with the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, where gold‑rimmed cliffs and thundering waterfalls open up before you. Artist Point is one of those views that makes everyone go quiet for a moment.

Evening Soak at Bozeman Hot Springs

Before heading back to our hotel, we’ll unwind at Bozeman Hot Springs, a local favorite with multiple outdoor pools, soft lighting, and a fun, social atmosphere. Warm water, mountain air, and that “we did something incredible today” feeling — the perfect end to a full Yellowstone day.

Day 3

Typical accommodations: Teton Valley Resort or similar

Today blends Yellowstone’s greatest hits with the peaceful beauty of Idaho’s backroads as we make our way toward our new home in Teton Valley. It’s a day of wildlife, geysers, rivers, waterfalls, and wide‑open mountain views — a perfect transition between two national parks.

Northern Range Wildlife Morning

We’ll begin the day in the Northern Range, one of Yellowstone’s most wildlife‑rich corridors. This is where the park feels wild and alive — bison grazing in the meadows, elk moving through the sagebrush, pronghorn sprinting across open fields, and coyotes weaving along the ridgelines. It’s a “windows down, cameras ready” kind of morning.

Old Faithful + Upper Geyser Basin

Next, we’ll head south to the world‑famous Old Faithful. Watching the geyser erupt never gets old — the rumble beneath your feet, the rising steam, the sudden burst of water shooting skyward. Afterward, we’ll wander the boardwalks of the Upper Geyser Basin, home to neon‑blue pools, steaming vents, and landscapes that feel almost otherworldly.

Exit Through West Yellowstone

After exploring the geyser basin, we’ll exit the park through West Yellowstone, avoiding the long southern loop and giving ourselves a smoother, more relaxed route into Idaho.

Riverside Meal in Idaho

Just outside the park, we’ll stop along a peaceful stretch of river for a beautiful meal. Picture a lodge‑style setting right on the water — tall pines, the sound of the river moving past, and big windows framing the view. It’s the perfect place to slow down, savor something warm, and take in the calm after a full Yellowstone morning.

Tetonia Scenic Byway

As we continue south, the landscape opens into the Tetonia Scenic Corridor — rolling farmland with the Tetons rising dramatically in the distance. We’ll make time for a few scenic pull‑offs where the mountains feel impossibly close, the kind of views that make you stop mid‑sentence.

Upper Mesa Falls

A short detour brings us to Upper Mesa Falls, one of Idaho’s most impressive waterfalls. A boardwalk leads to a dramatic overlook where the river plunges over a basalt cliff in a wide, thundering curtain of water. It’s a breathtaking moment — powerful, refreshing, and absolutely worth the stop.

Arrival at Resort

By late afternoon or early evening, we’ll roll into our Resort, our cozy home for the next few nights. Think modern cabins, mountain air, and that perfect “we made it” feeling after a day filled with beauty and movement.

Relaxed Evening Together

We’ll settle in, unwind, and enjoy a slow, sweet evening — maybe a fire, maybe a warm drink, definitely some laughter as we settle into our new home base beneath the western side of the Tetons.

Where the Wild Things Roam (And So Do We)

From River Views to Jackson Charm

Day 4

This morning we ease into the day with a peaceful scenic float on the Snake River — calm water, unreal Teton views, and plenty of chances to spot wildlife along the banks. It’s the perfect blend of adventure and ease.

After the float, we’ll head into Jackson, one of the most charming little mountain towns in the West. Wander at your own pace and soak up the vibe — grab your photo under the famous antler arches, pop into the boutiques and galleries, or settle in for a drink on the iconic saddle‑bar stools at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. It’s the kind of afternoon that feels both relaxed and full of character.

A Scenic Dinner Moment

Before we make our way back towards our cabins, we’ll enjoy an early dinner at a spot with big mountain views — the kind of place where the windows frame the Tetons and the whole meal feels like a moment. It’s a beautiful way to wrap up the day.

Yellowstone Highlights

Day 5

Our final full day together is all about celebrating the Tetons in the most joyful, memorable way — big mountain views, a gentle stroll, and a chance to get out on the water for a true “wow” moment.

Morning: Iconic Teton Viewpoints

We’ll ease into the day with a handful of classic stops that show off the Tetons from every angle:

  • Oxbow Bend — mirror‑calm water and perfect reflections

  • Mormon Row — the historic barns with the mountains rising behind

  • Jenny Lake Overlook — one of the most photographed spots in the park

Short walks, big views, and plenty of time to soak it all in.

Midday: Kayak or Canoe on the Lake

Next, we’ll head down to the shoreline for a fun, flexible paddle on either Jenny or Jackson Lake  (dependent on availability & season)

  • Rentals available right at the dock

  • Calm, beginner‑friendly water

  • Paddle for 20 minutes or an hour — totally up to the group

  • Unreal mountain backdrop

  • A perfect mix of adventure and ease

This is the moment everyone remembers — it feels playful, scenic, and totally celebratory.

A Gentle Teton Stroll

After the lake, we’ll enjoy a very short, easy trail nearby — something flat and scenic, like a lakeshore path or a meadow walk with the peaks towering above. Just enough movement to feel connected to the landscape without tiring anyone out.

Lunch With a View

We’ll grab lunch at a lodge café or enjoy a picnic with mountain scenery all around us. Relaxed, simple, and perfectly paced.

Afternoon: Wildlife & Scenic Pull‑Offs

As we make our way through the park, we’ll stop at a few more beautiful overlooks — willow flats, river bends, and open meadows where moose or elk often wander. It’s a slow, scenic glide through the Tetons at their best.

Late Afternoon: Head Back Towards Our Accommodations

We’ll wrap up the day with an easy, scenic drive home — full hearts, full camera rolls, and that “we really did something special together” feeling.

Meet Your Host -
Amanda

I’m Amanda, founder of Roam With Me Travel — and your guide to two of the most breathtaking places in the country. My love for national parks started young. One of my earliest memories is visiting Yellowstone when it was completely covered in snow, steam rising from the geysers like something out of another world. That trip stuck with me, and it’s a big part of why these parks feel so special today.

And the Tetons? Those craggy, dramatic peaks are some of my favorites in the entire United States. They rise straight out of the valley floor in a way that still stops me in my tracks. I’ve explored these trails solo and with others, and sharing that first “wow” moment with women seeing them for the first time is one of my greatest joys.

Think of me as part trip leader, part hype‑woman, part logistics ninja. My job is to make sure you’re fully immersed in the magic of these parks while everything behind the scenes flows seamlessly.

Roam With Me style means:

High‑energy wonder: Expect excitement, laughter, and those “did you SEE that?” moments. Seamless flow: Scenic drives, wildlife sightings, and perfectly timed stops. Whether you’re solo or with a friend, you’ll feel part of the Roam With Me family from day one.

I love creating spaces where travelers feel cared for, connected, and free to soak up every moment. I can’t wait to explore these extraordinary landscapes with you.
